Built From the Shop Up.

McSquared Customs started with a simple idea: make things well, make them useful, and take pride in the work.

After a career shaped by military service, technology, problem-solving, and attention to detail, I wanted an outlet where ideas could become something tangible. What began as woodworking and custom projects gradually grew into a shop built around something I’ve always enjoyed—figuring out how to make things, how to make them better, and sometimes how to make something that doesn’t exist yet.

Today, McSquared brings traditional woodworking together with modern fabrication. CNC machining, laser engraving and cutting, 3D printing, digital design, and hands-on craftsmanship all live under one roof. That combination lets us approach a project based on what it needs, rather than being limited to a single material or process.

Sometimes that means a personalized piece made to mark an important occasion. Sometimes it’s signage or a display for a business. It might be a military recognition piece, a fixture for a workshop, a functional 3D-printed component, or simply an idea someone brings through the door with the question, “Can you make this?”

Those are often the projects we enjoy most.

McSquared is also increasingly focused on designing our own products—practical, repeatable designs for the home, workplace, and shop. Some are made from wood. Some are printed or laser-cut. Others combine several processes into a single product.

Through all of it, the standard remains the same: thoughtful design, quality materials, attention to detail, and pride in the finished product.

McSquared Customs is a veteran-owned small business, and our work is designed, made, assembled, or finished right here in North Alabama.

Built different. Made here.

BUILT WITH THE RIGHT TOOLS.

And the experience to know when to use them.

McSquared combines traditional woodworking with CNC machining, laser fabrication, 3D printing, and digital design to choose the right process for each project.
